2024-2026 Butte County Republican Party Chair Teri DuBose has resigned from her position effective November 6, 2026, leaving Interim Party Chair Tyler Smith to succeed her as the new GOP Party Chair for Butte County.

We thank Teri DuBose for her years of effective service.  DuBose was able to grow the size of the Central Committee, organized a Christmas House Tour, two Lincoln-Reagan Dinners, oversaw the redesign of the ButteGOP.com website, the new YouTube Channel for the Party, and the rapid increase of fan base and views on the BCGOP Facebook page.

Coming on board is Tyler Smith of Oroville, who has been the 1st Vice Chair of the Party since 2024 and is excited to begin a new era for the Party.  Welcome, Tyler, and thank you for your willingness to serve!
